Eat Out at 42nd Avenue Station
It’s finally open — we’ve waited so long! 42nd Avenue Station is a gourmet coffee & deli restaurant at 4171 Lyndale Avenue North – in the heart of Camden. It’s open from 6am until 10pm, Monday through Thursday; Friday and Saturday- 6am until 11pm and Sunday it’s 9am until 9pm. What’s on the menu– soups, sandwiches, desserts, gourmet coffee, along with smoothies, and tea. Eat in or take out – it’s up to you. According to owner, Robert, a grand opening is planned in about 30 days. The owners are both “locals” – born and raised in North Minneapolis. Drop in and say hello to Robert and Geno. Are we happy there’s a new restaurant in Camden? Yes, we are!

This is a comfortable neighborhood coffee shop and eatery where you can meet friends, enjoy a snack, listen to great music on Saturdays, and just connect with community. They have awesome local artists that exibit thier work, and this cozy corner of the street business beckons you in, for a soymilk Latte’ (if that’s your thing) and sometimes even a massage. This place stands WAY out beyond the big corporate coffee joints. From someone who lives a stones throw away, I can say you will not regret stopping into this new community hotspot.
