Minneapolis Results Website

The City of Minneapolis is proud to announce the release of the new Results Minneapolis Web site where residents can monitor our City’s performance.  The City of Minneapolis places a high value on being a results-focused, accountable and transparent local government.  As part of this focus, the new Web site enables residents and neighborhood leaders like you to track and watch in a dynamic way how the City and its key partners at Minneapolis Public Schools, Minneapolis Parks and Recreation and Hennepin County are performing in key service areas.

It features:

  • In total, 31 measures are organized into six categories (public safety, education, neighborhood conditions, housing and economic development, resident health and environment) all of which can be easily navigated to using the Results Minneapolis home page.
  • Each measure page has a chart; link to the underlying data behind the chart; a narrative describing “why this is important,” “what’s being done” and “about this measure”; and related links along the left side of the page.
  • Where possible, measures have data not only at the City level, but also by other levels of geography and in some cases with a race and ethnic breakdown.  For example maps are used to highlight neighborhood data on several measures (e.g. graffiti incidents and fire response).  In addition, for some measures links on the left side of the page (e.g. part I and part II crime) can also get you to neighborhood level data.  Other measures such as teen pregnancies have data by race and ethnicity in the “optional views” button above the chart.
